Iceland Cleveleys is one of many stores of this well-known supermarket chain. It supplies a wide range of frozen packaged foods and some dry groceries. Plus a fair range of fresh produce, including bakery counter, fruit and vegetables and chilled food.

Iceland became the first supermarket to offer special discounts for over 60s. There’s 10% off shopping in store every Tuesday for customers who are over 60. There’s no minimum spend, and you can also use the discount at The Food Warehouse branches. All you have to do is scan your Bonus Club app/card and show valid ID.

Overall

Iceland Cleveleys is a really handy, central store selling all of your favourites at a good price. Bakery goods and bread are conveniently placed close to the entrance. Fridges of fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled produced, dairy and milks follow the outside edge of the store. Huge freezers occupy the central floorspace, with store-cupboard goods towards the back of the store.

Iceland Cleveleys is a good choice whether you need to pick up an odd item or two, or need to make a larger shop.

Before Iceland came to Cleveleys

This large, central unit traded for many years as a Tesco Metro. Sadly, the news of its closure broke on 2 August 2018, to much furore in the town. The then Coastal Community Team got involved, along with the local MP, but the store still closed on Saturday 3 November 2018.
