If you want to get out and about, make friends and do something different, why don’t you try Little Thornton WI?

They meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 2-4pm at the Church Hall, St. John’s Church, Stanah Rd, Thornton, FY5 5JE.

In January 2016 Pat Ascroft spoke about a poor Victorian farming family starting a new life in America – The Wyre Way to America. They eventually prospered in Kansas and recently their descendants returned to see if such places as Garstang and Knott End existed! 

New members and visitors are welcome to come for chat, tea, coffee and biscuits etc. Hear a variety of speakers on all kinds of subjects. Enjoy trips and visits and make new friends.
