Thornton Christmas Lights Switch On
Tuesday 28th November 2023 at 4pm
The Thornton Festive Lights will be switched on at 4pm at the Shopping Centre, on Victoria Road East on Tuesday 28th November.
The lights will be up and shining brightly over Christmas and the New Year.
The Switch On ceremony will be performed by two winners of the Thornton schools’ competition. They’ll be presented with their prizes by the Mayor of Wyre. Wishing all the crowds a Happy Christmas, Santa will be arriving to say ho,ho,ho! Then enjoy carols sung by the school choirs.

Parents, grandparents, friends and local residents are welcome. Please come and support the children.

Enjoy the Christmas Tree at Four Lane Ends and lights in the trees outside the Little Theatre and in the tree at the Fleetwood Road North Co-op.
