Enjoy monthly meetings at Christ Church Parish Hall, Meadows Avenue, Thornton, FY5 2TW. There’s a variety of interesting speakers, meetings start at 7.30pm.
Members and non-members are very welcome. The admission charge includes refreshments.
FLOWER, ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW
Saturday 13th August from 1-6pm
Come along to celebrate the 80th Anniversary Show (1941-2021). At Millfield Science & Performing Arts College, Belvedere Road, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 5DG.
The annual Flower, Arts & Crafts Show is your opportunity to show off the results of your green fingers, crafting dexterity and culinary skills. Perhaps you’ll win acclaim as best in show. It is also an opportunity to marvel at what other people have achieved. It’s a fantastic family day out – everyone is welcome.
The Show includes competitive classes in
- Horticulture,
- Homecrafts,
- Handicrafts,
- Needlework,
- Floral Art,
- Photography
- and the Children’s Sections.
Whether you grow fruit or flowers or vegetables. Do you have a nice hanging basket or an indoor plant. If you can knit, sew, bake cakes or paint pictures. Maybe you arrange flowers or are a keen photographer – you can join in!
Along with the exhibits in the hall, there will be the Society’s Tombola & Raffle Stalls. Along with the displays and refreshments, they make it well worth a visit for the whole family. Please support the Show at Millfield Science & Performing Arts College.
