The Capricorn Singers Ladies Choir is based in Cleveleys and has been entertaining in the Fylde since 1984. Established in January, hence the name ‘Capricorn’ the astrological sign for the month!
The three-part ladies choir is led by Musical Director, Chrissie Mason and accompanied by the very talented Ian Whalley. Performances are an up-to-date entertaining mixture of genres ranging from film soundtracks to choral, through to pop music and songs from the shows.
New members are very welcome, particularly younger ladies 18 or over who can sing and would like to try a new and rewarding hobby. It doesn’t matter if you don’t read music, a lot of ladies don’t. If you would like any additional information or would like to book The Capricorn Singers for your event, please call Chrissie on 07734 081824.
The Choir is winner of the Ladies Choir Class at the Skipton Music Festival 2017.

Book the choir for your own special event
The Capricorn Singers pride themselves in committing their performance songs to memory. This means that they have a rolling programme of music titles to choose from, even though they may have one or two favourites which remain with the programme longer than others.
Performances are usually two acts of 45 minutes for a Full Concert or one act of 60 minutes for a Short Concert.
They also sing at Weddings to entertain the congregation as they enter church or a registered venue. In addition they can join in with the ceremony hymns and when it comes to the special moment of signing the register, sing one or two special songs just for the happy couple.
