In Cleveleys town centre, there are pavement cafes aplenty, and perfect seaside fish and chip shops. This town has traditional cafes serving ordinary English fayre. It also has some rather good restaurants and bistros. There’s something for everyone’s taste and budget. Some are open all day, others in the evening.
Throughout the town centre there are plenty of cafes for your daytime drinks, snacks and best bites. Many of them have outdoor pavement seating, for a perfect half an hour in the seaside sunshine! Head out of the town centre into the surrounding areas and visit The Venue on the seafront. On the main route into Cleveleys from Blackpool, enjoy fine dining at The Briardene Hotel. Their restaurant is open to the public at weekends, serving an amazing Sunday dinner.
There’s a growing entertainment scene in Cleveleys, with bars to suit all tastes, from working men’s clubs to wine bars. It’s a nice place to visit for a night out too. Bars here cater for people who want to have a good night out – rather than those who just want to get drunk!
Cleveleys also has the usual takeaway shops – bakeries cater for savoury lovers, along with sandwich shops and fast food outlets. There are plenty of places to sit for a minute if you want a quick takeaway bite to eat, with picnic tables on the prom and Princess Road, and benches in the town centre. Day tripping? Pick up your tasty treats at Cleveleys and enjoy it along with the views. Just watch out for the seagulls – please don’t feed them as it encourages them to steal!
