Top marks for Hygiene

In early September 2012, all the staff at The Venue were delighted to upgrade their Hygiene Rating from a very acceptable level 4 to the highest grade possible, a level 5.

Hygiene ratings are awarded to all food premises by Food Inspectors and grade catering premises on the whole range of their hygiene, from the way that food is prepared to whether the equipment and premises meet current requirements.

A lot of effort and work has gone into making sure that The Venue gets the top grade, so well done to everyone!

The Venue is the large white building at the northern end of Cleveleys seafront, next to Jubilee Gardens and where the new promenade gives way to the shingle of Rossall Beach. One of the oldest seafront buildings in Cleveleys, it was previously known as The Royal.

It's a venue on three floors, with The Spirit nightclub in the basement, The Venue bar area on the ground floor and La Mezzaluna restaurant on the first floor, so there really is something for everyone.

Open all day, all through the year and even on Christmas Day, you can pop in for a hot drink and piece of cake while you are freezing in winter, or enjoy a cold, refreshing drink and a sit in the sun on the terrace in the summer! Bar meals and snacks are served through the day on the ground floor, where there is disabled access - please note there is no disabled access to the first floor.

The Venue is also an entertainment spot in Cleveleys, and all through the year you'll find different performers and events, with some of the best in tribute acts, and of course the famous 'Steak and Psychic Nights' which are always popular and sell out quickly.

It's also somewhere to bring your special occassion, from christenings and weddings to funerals, and of course family parties, works outings and meals out just because you feel like it!

The Venue can also provide room hire, coffee and catering for business meetings - providing a complete package so that all you need to do is turn up with your guests.
