The MAC Memory Assessment Centre are going out and about into the community to tak to you, and their plan is to visit:

- Asda at Fleetwood on 23rd May from 9am to 1pm

- Dobbies Garden Centre on 23rd May from 1.30pm to 5pm

- St Johns Square in Blackpool on Friday 24th May from 9am to 5pm

You'll be able to have a brew and a biscuit, and chat to the friendly team and talk to healthcare professionals. There'll be lots of information to take away with you and you can make an appointment for a memory test too.

There'll also be fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society, and lots of information from them, plus how they can help you and your family or friends.

Come and join SEA LIFE Blackpool as they organise the monthly Blackpool Community Beach Clean.

Meet at the RNLI building on the promenade, across from Coral Island.

See first hand what washes up on our shores, and how what each and every one of us does at home and in our own businesses can play a part in improving bathing water quality. Find out more about community beach cleaning in Blackpool.

Because Blackpool Central beach is tidal and covers completely at high tide, these regular events will be held on different days each month at different times.

Thornton Cleveleys Friends of Trinity Hospice, Lancome Demonstration

Help to raise funds for the Fylde Coast hospice with this local Friends group

On 23rd May you're invited to a Lancome Demonstration Evening at the Briardene Hotel, Cleveleys, starting at 7.00 pm with the demonstration commencing at 7.30 pm.

Tickets £5 (to include refreshments) can be obtained from Kath Fisher on 01253 821374.

There will be a raffle and prizes will include 2 items donated by Lancome. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Lancome products on the night (cash or debit cards can only be accepted). All proceeds will go to Trinity the Hospice in the Fylde. Registered Charity No. 511009.
