Jubilee Gardens Play Area Restoration

The play area for small children at Jubilee Gardens has been prone to flooding and has been closed for a while, but it's now being restored for business as usual!

Works are well under way with most of the initial site clearance works complete and all the surface water drainage being replaced.

During the next three weeks the shape of the enlarged play area will take shape as the perimeter walls and metal fencing panels are installed.

All the existing play equipment is currently being serviced off site and will also be ready for re-installation in late April. A new safer surfacing material will also be laid at the same time.

Take a look at this drawing which shows exactly what is planned for the area.

The whole area is planned for completion at the beginning of May - so keep an eye on progress!
