The Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) is the independent body that examines applications for consent to develop major infrastructure projects.
An application has been received from Halite Energy Group Ltd for an underground gas storage facility at Preesall Saltfield, Over Wyre, Lancashire.
The IPC is holding a series of events to help people with an interest in this proposal to understand the planning process, when to register and how to make a representation to the IPC.
Please note that only the planning process will be discussed at these roadshows, NOT the application itself.
