Cleaning up the seas is a recurring theme with countries, governments and local authorities everywhere doing their bit to reduce pollution, and at Cleveleys you can really see the results in action.

The seas at Cleveleys are some of the cleanest in the northwest of the country, and despite the flotsam and jetsam that gets washed up, you can see that the water itself is getting progressively cleaner.

Looking out across the sea it looks clean and green, and on a beautiful weekend like it's just been, you could almost be in the south of England, with clean beaches and green, twinkly sea. What need is there to go abroad or even down south for your holidays!
