It's not 'just another website' - it's designed and maintained to keep people coming back, to build pride and enjoyment in the place, encourage residents to enjoy their seaside town, and encourage visitors to come here. How does it do this? Read on...

 

• designed in ‘brochure style’ Visit Cleveleys is both visually attractive in selling the wonders of Cleveleys, but it is also content rich and includes lots of information about Cleveleys.
• new pages, sections and information will be added on a regular basis to encourage people to make return visits, and provide a way of keeping up to date with what's happening in the area. A 'quick update' facility on the homepage means the reader doesn't have to fight through a full site to find new material, and RSS alerts subscribers to news and blog updates.
• a regular diary blog by the publishers is a stream of chatter, information, updates and news about Cleveleys. Written in a friendly and engaging way, the blog in itself is worth returning to the site for, time and again. A range of other items will be added which present topical information from people at Cleveleys, newspaper/magazine style to develop the human interest aspect.
• a ‘subscribe’ function allows data capture for e-news campaigns – both to promote the site and to promote events, and advertise offers etc.
• ‘send to friend’ is included so that the site can be effortlessly and virally passed around, along with a 'bookmark' with social media function.
• ‘Follow us on Facebook’ enables users of the site and visitors to Cleveleys to leave their comments and postings, and provides another marketing strand for the site, offers and events.
• Video is to follow soon, streamed onto the page and linked to the YouTube channel which is now live.

 

The website is widely marketed to attract users and regular traffic, through local and North West press, literature which is distributed widely, with posters, and through our own networks. The site is optimised for search engines, and benefits from links to sites that we produce and maintain commercially, along with links to other external sites.

 

This site is privately published and funded by Rabbit Design.

Artwork costs are included in the price for a static display. Animated adverts available.

Adverts are shown in pixel sizes, the size that they will appear on the site.

Payment:

 

visitCleveleys is happy to receive payment by cheque or direct debit. The payment method chosen by our customers is entirely up to them but we strictly apply the following payment terms in order to minimize unnecessary costs and maximise customer benefits. We extend 14 days credit for cheque payment by new customers FROM THE DATE YOU BECOME OUR CUSTOMER. If payment is not received in this time the listing will be suspended until payment is made.

 

Termination of advertising and collection of bad debts:

 

Where customers fall outside our payments terms we will suspend advertising. Please note for the avoidance of doubt, if any payment is not received by the due date, then your listing will be suspended. Without prejudice to any other right of visitCleveleys, if the suspension last for a period of 1 month (from the date of suspension) visitCleveleys shall have the right to terminate any agreement or contract it has with you without liability howsoever arising.

 

All customers of visitCleveleys commit to a fixed term of 12 months on the site when they sign up. Only in very exceptional circumstances can that fixed term be changed. If a shortened term is agreed the customer will be charged pro-rata for the time that their advert has appeared on the site plus reasonable administration costs. A customer wishing to remove their listing from visitCleveleys within their fixed term may do so at their own discretion but they will not receive a refund of fees paid. A customer wishing to remove a listing which is not fully paid for will incur an administration fee of £35 and be invoiced for the period the listing has been live on the site.

 

Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies which visitCleveleys may have,visitCleveleys may terminate any agreement or contract it has with you, without liability to you, immediately on giving notice to you if:

 

(a) you are a company or other incorporated body and an order is made or a resolution is passed for your winding up, or

(b) an order is made for the appointment of an administrator to manage your affairs, business and property, or documents are filed with a court of competent jurisdiction for the appointment of an administrator, or notice of intent to appoint an administrator is given, or

(c) a receiver is appointed of any of your assets or undertaking,or

(d) you make any arrangement or composition with your creditors, or make an application to a court of competent jurisdiction for the protection of your creditors in any way; or

(e) you are an individual, and you have a bankruptcy order made against you.
